The Module Pre-Assessment is your opportunity to practice applying module content before submitting the final Competency Assessment. In the Final Assessment, you will be asked to create a job aid for new employees that describes the organization’s strategic planning process.

To prepare for your Final Assessment, select a strategy formulation process and consider why this process is effective and the roles and responsibilities involved. Next, select at least seven steps for the implementation process and reflect on why you selected these steps and the roles and responsibilities involved. Then, think about how the strategic plan will help the organization reach the critical goals you identified and how the plan aligns with the organization’s mission, vision, and objectives. Finally, consider why the strategic planning process is important and how it helps health care organizations achieve success.

For this Module Pre-Assessment, finish the draft of your job aid by describing the strategy formulation process including the roles and responsibilities involved and why it is effective. Also, describe at least seven steps for implementation including the roles and responsibilities of those performing the steps. Then, explain how a strategic plan will help the organization reach its critical goals and how the plan aligns with the organization’s mission, vision, and objectives. Finally, explain why the strategic planning process is important and how it helps health care organizations achieve success. Be sure to review the Final Assessment Instructions for more guidance.
