How do you write ##-0.875## as a fraction?

##-0.875 = -7/8##

Fractions, decimals and percents are all different ways of writing the same value. They are interchangeable.
3 decimal places means you working with thousandths.
##-0.875 = -875/1000##
You can now simply by 5, or 25, or 125.
Dividing top and bottom by 125 simplifies in one step.
##-875/1000 (div125)/(div125) = -7/8##
