Using the child you have created, write the infant and toddler section of the case history project.  Remember to describe your child’s development in the following development domains and theories.  Provide examples of what the child does and how it relates to the following development domains and theories:

Physical  Development – Consider the child’s development from the overall physical development domain perspective.  When did the child achieve the various milestones and how did you know?
Cognitive Development – Consider the child’s development from the overall cognitive development domain perspective.  When did the child achieve the various milestones and how did you know?

o    Psychosocial Development –  Consider the child’s development from the overall psychosocial development domain perspective.  When did the child achieve the various milestones and how did you know?

Brain Development – Consider the child’s development from the brain development perspective.  When did the child achieve the various milestones and how did you know?

Language Development –

Consider the child’s development from the language development perspective.  When did the child achieve the various milestones and how did you know?

Piaget’s Theory of Cognitive Development – Consider the child’s development from a Piagetian theoretical perspective.  When did the child achieve the various stages and how did you know?

Vygotsky’s Theory of Cognitive Development – Consider the child’s development from a Vygotskian theoretical perspective.  Explain the child’s development in terms of Vygotsky’s key ideas.

Erikson’s Psychosocial Theory – Explain the child’s development in terms of Erikson’s psychosocial theory.  When did the child achieve the various stages and how did you know?
Ainsworth’s Attachment Theory –Utilize and describe the attachment theory.  Explain how the child’s attachment pattern affected his/her development.

Parenting – Consider your child’s overall development and how the parenting style(s) will be affected.  There are many factors to consider with each age of the child, family influences, family development, society and many other factors
