For this assignment, you will be reading the assigned article by Moore & Kahn (2019) through the link provided BELOW.  The article discusses ways that casual violence as a part of sexual acts have been mainstreamed, and the dangers this poses to women as a part of it.
The first part of the assignment involves providing a summary of the major points of the article, including their key points.  You should also put these findings into the larger context of readings in your textbook regarding gender-based violence.

For the second part of the assignment, you will be doing your own cultural research on imagery and information regarding sex and casual violence as sexual acts. For this purpose, whether considering dating ads (such as Tinder, Bumble, or Grindr profiles) or depictions of sex in movies or television shows, focus on those mainstream audiences and not intended to depict consensual BDSM. In other words, consider sources that present sexual violence as a type of “typical” sex. Similar to your first assignment collecting ads, consider embedding images or video links into your final paper

All students should provide some analysis of the information provided in the article. Additionally, how it informs an examination of cultural artifacts.  What trends have you noticed in discussions with your own peer group?  How might increased acceptance of sexual aggression by men affect sexual assault or rape?
The paper should be approximately 3 pages in length, double spaced, if you are an undergraduate student .
Grading will be on the quality of your discussion of the article. Also, your description of the material you find online, your analysis of that material, and your overall writing style.
