Discuss the appearance. Explain what you liked and/or disliked about the appearance, display and website. How did the two items compare to each other. Is there a price posted, quality of photo-appearance, can you get an idea of the atmosphere of the bakeshop from their website? You do not need to find one product better than the other one; you just need to compare them. How do the websites compare?

2. You can use the library as an online resource. Research the product via the library catalog and library databases, as well as on the Web (www).  You must use at least four sources. Use at least one article from sources listed in number 6 below. Determine:
a. The origin and history of the item.
b. What is the product is composed of?
c. Describe the techniques involved in making it. (no recipes or lengthy procedures)
d. Is there anything unique about the baked good?

There should be between 5-8 citations and/or direct quotes. A citation is a fact you learn from a source that is not common knowledge that you write about in your own words. A direct quote is copied word for word from the author and must be in “quotation marks.” Citations and direct quotes must be properly cited in APA format both in the body of the paper and on the works cited page.
Try to do your research on your own but if you aren’t successful, seek assistance from a reference librarian.
