LONG ESSAY Prompt: John Locke’s theory of natural rights became the foundation of 18th-and 19th-century liberalism. How did certain 19th-and 20th-century ideas (e.g. scientific, philosophical, political, or economic) and historical developments undermine natural rights and liberal governance in Europe during the 20th century? (Make sure to discuss not only the ideas but also how and where they were implemented and what the significant results were.)
